Seymour Elderly Citizens’ Hostel Inc. (SECH Inc.) is a community owned organisation, providing care and accommodation for older people in our community and surrounds.SECH Inc. was established in 1964, and is governed by a voluntary Board of local business and community-minded people. In mid 2013, SECH Inc. opened a new residential aged care facility ‘Karingal Seymour’, offering a range of low, high and specialist dementia care.

Seymour has a population of approx 6,900 and is the largest town in Mitchell Shire. Located only 1 hour from Melbourne, Bendigo and Shepparton (even closer from northern suburbs), Seymour is centrally located off the Hume Highway and is a main stop on the Albury and Shepparton V-Line train services. Just a short walk to the central shopping district, Karingal Seymour is ideally located within the local health care precinct.

Karingal Seymour is fully accredited with the The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) , acknowledging our high quality care and accommodation, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
